iOS App ​

NOTE

The Authentified iOS app is coming soon to the App Store. This page will be updated with a download link once it's live.

The Authentified iOS app gives you the full Authentified experience — listing, selling, and tracking your items — with native extras like push notifications, so you hear about a sale the moment it happens.

Getting started ​

Once the app is available, when you first open it you'll sign in (or create an account), see a short walkthrough of how Authentified works, and be asked for two permissions:

  1. Notifications — so we can tell you about sales, shipping labels, and listing updates.
  2. Location — so we can show you location-relevant selling features as they roll out.

Both are optional. You can change either at any time in your iPhone's Settings.

Push notifications ​

Once notifications are enabled, we'll keep you posted about the things that matter:

  • Sales — you've made a sale
  • Shipping — your shipping label is ready, and your item is on its way
  • Listings — your listing is live, in review, or has been listed for a while and might need a refresh
  • Pricing — your pricing recommendation is ready, and when we discount listings to help you get a sale
  • Payments — your payment details were added, updated, or need attention
  • Away mode — confirmation when away mode (which pauses your listings while you're away) turns on or off

Managing notifications ​

To turn notifications off (or back on), open Settings → Notifications → Authentified on your iPhone. Turning them off doesn't affect anything else — you'll still see everything in the app.

Location ​

If you allow location access, the app periodically shares your approximate location with Authentified. We only ever store a blurred location (accurate to roughly a kilometre) — never your exact position.

Opting out ​

Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Authentified and select Never. The app works fully without location access.

Signing in ​

You sign in with the same account you use on the web — your listings, sales, and settings are always in sync between the app and app.authentified.co.
