Product consignment

This guide explains how to consign a product with Authentified using the Product Variant Details page in your Shopify Admin.

Consigning Products from the Product Variant Details Page

Products can be consigned directly from the Product Variant Details page. The steps below outline how to complete the process.

Step 1: Find the Product variant

Navigate to the Product variant details page of the product you would like to consign.

1. Go to the Products section in your Shopify admin.
2. Locate the product you wish to consign and click on it.
3. Scroll down to the Variants section, where all variants of the product are listed.
4. Click on the link for the specific variant you want to consign. This will take you to the Product variant details page.

Step 2: Access the Consign With Authentified Action

On the Product variant details page, from the More actions dropdown menu, select the Consign with Authentified option.

Step 3: Create a Token

Click the Create token button to proceed.

The token represents the details of instance of the product variant being consigned. When you click the Create token button, the token is generated in the background based on the product variant’s details. No further action is required on your part for this step.

Step 4: Create a Listing

After the token is created, click Create listing to create a listing for the item.

Step 5: Continue the Process in the Authentified App

Once the listing is created, the consignment process can be completed within the app interface.
